Vinidex Pty Limited is a leading manufacturer and supplier of pipe systems and solutions for the transportation of fluid, data and energy. Vinidex is wholly owned by the Metal Manufactures Group and has a significant presence in the Asia-Pacific Rim.

Founded in 1960, Vinidex has grown significantly to become a national company employing several hundred staff working in manufacturing, product development, research and testing, sales, customer service and distribution.

Nine distribution centres throughout Australia form the heart of a comprehensive nationwide warehousing and distribution network developed by Vinidex to efficiently distribute our own products and those of our national and international suppliers. This wide geographical base provides us with with significant capacity and flexibility to meet the needs of a national customer base and respond to market conditions and special project specifications.

Vinidex pipe and fittings systems are used in a broad cross-section of markets such as plumbing, water supply, sewerage and wastewater, stormwater and drainage, mining, industrial, rural, irrigation, electrical, telecommunications and gas. Vinidex pipe systems are used in a wide variety of applications which has enabled us to successfully challenge other piping materials like metals, earthenware, concrete and fibre cement.

Vinidex continues to lead the world in the development and manufacture of Supermain® Oriented PVC pipe (PVC-O) for potable water applications. The orientation process imparts high strength at maximum material efficiency. It also has environmental benefits as it requires less energy to produce than conventional PVC.

Vinidex StormPRO® and SewerPRO® pipes are twin wall, corrugated polypropylene pipes for sewer and stormwater non-pressure applications. Utlising modern co-extrusion techniques, StormPRO® and SewerPRO® are manufactured with a smooth bore for optimum hydraulic performance and a corrugated outside wall for high stiffness to weight ratio.

Other high performance, material efficient pipe systems from Vinidex include Corflo® double-wall corrugated pipe for conduit applications and Draincoil® subsoil drainage pipe.
