FLUFF
Welcome to the FLUFF (Friction Loss in Uniform Fluid Flow). This page is intended for FLUFF users and developers. FLUFF is a program to assist in estimating the friction losses developed in a uniform pipe or conduit under steady state laminar or turbulent flow conditions. It does not deal with compressible flow.
To download the FLUFF program:
Windows installer
Download and run this file: fluff_installer.msi (30mb file)
MacOS installer
Download and run this file: fluff_installer_mac.zip (30mb file)
Browser installation
Step 1 Install Java. Skip to Step 2 if you already have java installed.
Follow the instructions at http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
Step 2 Download and run FLUFF
Just Click here and follow the prompts. FLUFF will run and install itself at the same time. Once it is installed, you can run it as a standalone application at anytime by just clicking on the 'FLUFF' icon on the desktop, or by finding it in the programs list under the start button.
