Vinidex NRL Footy Tipping Competition 2025

 

Terms & Conditions

 

1. The Promoter and the Administrator. The Promoter of the competition is Vinidex Pty Ltd L4, 26 College St, Darlinghurst NSW 2010, Australia, ABN 42 000 664 942. The Administrator of the promotion is Footy Tipping Software Pty Ltd of 10A Orrong Road, Elsternwick, Victoria, 3185, ABN 13 076 086 314.

2. Who Can Enter. Entry into the promotion is open to residents based in Australia and over 18 years of age. Participants must be employed with a registered Vinidex distributor with an active account for the duration of the competition. This will be determined at the absolute discretion of Vinidex Pty Ltd. Directors, management, employees or immediate family of the Promoter or Administrator may enter the competition.

3. Who can win. Participants must be employed with a registered Vinidex distributor with an active account for the duration of the competition to be eligible to win any of the prizes. Directors, management, employees or immediate family of the Promoter or Administrator are not eligible to win any of the prizes.

4. Who Cannot Enter. All persons under 18 years of age.

5. Entry Fee. There are no entry fees to register or play. Maximum value of prizes to be paid by Vinidex Pty Ltd is $5,500.00

6. How to Enter. Entry to the competition is only available by completing the Registration details on the Promoter’s website at www.vinidex.com.au/footytipping-nrl (the Website).

7. Promotional Material. Upon registration, participants agree to receive promotional & marketing material from the Promoter.

8. Privacy Policy. All personal information collected by entering this competition will be processed and used in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy available here: www.vinidex.com.au/privacy

9. Competition Start and Finish. The promotion commences at 9.00am Friday 21st February 2025 when registrations open and closes 10 minutes before the final game of the National Rugby League Home and Away Season on Sunday 7th of September 2025, when tipping will be closed.

10. Entering After the Official Start Date. Participants who register after 10:50am AEDT on Sunday 2nd of March 2025, the cut-off time for Round 1 of the Home and Away Season, will be awarded the default tips for the rounds they missed of Average Score in Round.

11. Communication during the Competition. All communication between the Promoter and the participant must be via the Website and electronic mail (vinidex-nrl@etipping.com.au). Registration forms or weekly tips sent to the Promoter via any other means of communication are void.

12. Administration of the Competition. The Promoter and/or the Administrator may email the results for each round to each participant and email reminder messages to the participant to lodge tips before cut-off times. The Promoter and/or the Administrator will not be held responsible for any emails that are not delivered to any participant. Participants should not rely on any reminders from the Promoter and/or the Administrator.

13. Tips Lodgement. Tips can only be entered into the competition through the Website. The Promoter takes no responsibility for the participants inability to access the Website.

14. Points Allocations.
Points awarded for a correctly tipped win: 1.
Participants cannot select a draw as a possible outcome. A draw is treated as a win for all participants regardless of which team they selected or were allocated by the competition’s default tips.

15. Weekly Cut-Off Times. Tipping is closed on a Game-by-Game basis 10 minutes before each game. Tips entered before the deadline may be amended provided the changes are completed prior to cut-off.

16. Default Tips. Participants who fail to enter tips will be awarded the default tips of Away Teams with a default predicted winning margin of 50.

17. Weekly Prizes.
Rounds 1 – 27:
Weekly Prize – $100.00 true rewards eGift Card (www.truerewards.com.au)
The tipper who correctly picks most winners and whose predicted margin is closest to the winning margin in the game specified is the Weekly Winner and will receive the weekly prize. A prize is awarded every week. If more than one tipper qualifies then the weekly prize will be awarded to the competitor who completed their tips on the earliest occasion. The prize will be sent to the winner electronically at the address provided during the registration. The weekly winners at the end of each round will be notified by email within two (2) working days of the final game of the round. If a tipper does not enter all tips for a round, then they cannot qualify for the weekly prize.

18. End of Season Prize. Major Prize – NRL Grand Final weekend away (includes flights, accommodation and two tickets to the NRL Grand Final at Accor Stadium, Sydney) Total value of $3,000.00. The Major Prize is non-transferrable, if the winner is unable to accept the prize, it will be awarded to the next place getter for the competition. The total prize pool to be distributed for Vinidex NRL Tipping Competition is $5,500.00. In the event of a tie for any prize, the entrant with the lowest accumulated margin difference will be the winner. Each round the variance of each entrant’s margin prediction from the actual margin will be calculated. The accumulated total of this variance will be used in the tie-breaker calculation. If after examining the total variance, a final winner cannot be determined in each prize category, the tipper who registered on the earliest date and time will be determined the winner.

19. Prize conditions. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier’s requirements. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.

20. Date, Place and Time of Determining the Winner(s). The winner of each weekly prize will be determined by 10 am on the next working day following the final game of each round of the tipping competition, at the offices of the Administrator of the competition. The weekly winners at the end of each round will be notified by email within two (2) working days of the final game of the round. The winner at the end of the season will be determined by 12 Noon on Monday 8th of September 2025 at the offices of the Administrator of the competition and will be notified by electronic mail by 12 Noon on the following day. All winners’ names will be displayed on the Promoter’s website within 48 hours of acceptance of the prize.

21. Unclaimed Prizes. In the event that any Weekly or End of Season prize remains unclaimed as at 12 Noon on Wednesday, 8th October 2025, that prize will then be awarded to the next qualifying tipper who will be notified by electronic mail. This will be determined at the offices of the Administrator of the competition and the winner’s names will be displayed on the promoter’s website within 48 hours of acceptance of the prize.

22. Dispute Resolution. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final. No responsibility is taken for lost, or misdirected, registrations and/or weekly tips.

23. Amendment of Rules. The Promoter reserves the right to amend the rules of the competition from time to time as considered necessary. Individual notice of such changes shall not be given but such changes will be recorded on the Website. Any such changes are subject to the approval of all relevant State and Territory Lottery Departments. The Promoter (subject to State and Territory legislation) reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this competition if an event beyond the control of the Promoter corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition. The Promoter will disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this competition.

24. Enter Only Once. Participants may not enter more than one registration. The Promoter reserves the right to determine that a person has made more than one registration, and to disqualify any such person from the competition, or to delete entries so that only one entry remains.

25. Promoter’s Decision is Final. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the competition. Completion and submission of your registration requires acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of this competition.

26. Discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to accept or reject any registrations, at its discretion.

27. Disclaimer. The Promoter takes no responsibility for unauthorised access to any participant’s tipping by any means, including where passwords have been revealed to third parties. The Promoter will not be liable for any delays or failure to perform its obligations if such a failure or delay is due to force majeure.

28. Copyright. In participating in the competition, the winner/s agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winners agree to granting the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide, including online social networking sites, and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

29. Social Media. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn may be used to promote or advertise the competition. By registering and accepting these terms and conditions, participants agree that the competition is in no way endorsed, administered or associated with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or LinkedIn.

30. Statutory Consumer Guarantees. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (‘Non-Excludable Guarantees’).

31. Liability. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or Entrant; or (f) use of a prize. The Promoter (including its’ officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits or opportunity), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition including taking or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law), including the Non-Excludable guarantees.
