dBlue Acoustic Drainage Systems

Features & Benefits

  • Chemical and temperature resistant

Akatherm dBlue has excellent temperature and chemical resistance. Installation is possible at temperatures down to -10ºC.

  • Green material

Akatherm dBlue is 100% recyclable. It’s environmentally friendly without any weakening agent, lead or other SVHC substance.

  • Long life

The minimum life expectancy of polypropylene is over 50 years. Due to the smooth internal layer there is less risk of blockage compared to other systems, meaning it requires less maintenance. There is no corrosion resulting in blockage or reduced lifespan.

  • Ease of handling and installation

Akatherm dBlue is lightweight, over 6 times lighter than the comparable cast iron products. When installed in acoustic applications, Akatherm dBlue may be installed up to 6 x faster than lagged PVC. Akatherm dBlue is flexible and tough, suitable for installation underground and embedment in concrete.
